Weight: 24 lbs, 14 ozs (so basically 25 POUNDS) :-)
*** Many of you knew that already of course because you have held him recently ***
Height: 30 3/4" (Nurse Nancy was so shocked at him growing 2" since October, so she double checked! Today marked the first time his height was "off the charts". Also, it's the first time he's in the 96 percentile for height. At 6 months, he was in the 85%! What IS this boy eating!??!
Head: 18.5" (85th percentile)
She said it's perfect cause he's in the same percentile all around, so his growth is right on! :-) He can eat table foods (no steak yet, PopPop), but she encouraged us to give him little pieces of whatever we're eating! Boy is he going to be one happy BOY!
The not so super news is that we had to give him a breathing treatment while we were there to see if his airways were tightening due to allergies or environmental yuck OR if he had a "little case" of R.S.V. Since his chest rattling didn't go down after the breathing treatment, Dr. Burns said he had RSV. :-( She said it probably had already peaked this weekend (Sat. and Sun), and that it just gradually goes away with time. :-( Poor baby! It's not contagious, but he will have more coughing and nose discharge in the next week or so. Anyhoo! Sorry to go on and on! Hot baths are good to release his congestion and keep his airways clear. That's about it! He got two shots and a finger prick, but he's sleeping soundly now!!
No clothes, no diaper, NO PROBLEM! :-)
(this is how I found Charlie on Friday when he woke from his nap! Time to lower the crib!)
(his expression above is what he does when the cameras are out! It's his happy face I guess! Too cute and squishy!!)
Clark did AWESOME and got a grape lollipop AND a sticker for being such a good big brother! Charlie did have a rough time, but Clark kept saying "It's okay, Char-wee" and picking up the toys Charlie kept dropping! SO SO blessed!
Clark's 9month stats (for comparison of course) - H: 30.25" (93rd percentile) W: 22.1lbs (80th percentile) *** Two weeks, ago, at a sick/Dr. visit for Clark, we discovered he was a whopping TWO inches (at least) taller than he was in October!!
That's all for us! Love and hugs abundant to all of you! Hope to see each of you soon!
